About the Role

The DevOps Engineer at Hard Rock Digital is a key contributor in building, scaling, and securing our next-generation gaming and entertainment platforms. You will design and implement hybrid cloud infrastructure spanning AWS, on-premises systems, and third-party platforms in heavily regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Implement AWS and hybrid infrastructure using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Build, manage, and optimize containerized environments (EKS, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Automate build, deployment, and delivery pipelines across all environments.
  • Design and implement observability, monitoring, and alerting systems.
  • Embed security by design with guardrails, access controls, and compliance automation.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to maintain high reliability standards.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.
  • Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong containerization experience (EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform/Terragrunt.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Knowledge of observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking, security best practices, and compliance frameworks.
  • AWS Certification is a strong plus.
