The Position: Compliance Analyst
We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to join our international markets team, focusing specifically on markets outside of the USA. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring general license compliance across one or more jurisdictions, covering aspects such as licensing, marketing, and safer gambling initiatives for these markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing compliance matrices for new jurisdictions, which includes identifying risk owners, designing and implementing controls, and assigning responsibilities to ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage the preparation, review, and submission of accurate and timely reports to both internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and other relevant parties, ensuring full compliance with applicable standards and requirements.
- Conduct thorough compliance monitoring reviews, collect evidence of compliance, and collaborate with business teams to address any areas of non-compliance, generating regular reports for management.
- Undertake all necessary regulatory filings as mandated by gaming licenses or relevant laws.
- Keep the wider compliance team informed about evolving gaming legislation and other legal developments that impact gaming business operations.
- Support the Compliance Manager in providing expert advice to business teams on all regulatory compliance matters, including guidance on marketing promotions and campaigns.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance guides, including policies, procedures, and manuals, along with any other documentation required for internal and external compliance.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and generate gap analysis reports to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments to pinpoint potential compliance risks and ensure that associated training programs and control measures are effectively designed and implemented to mitigate identified risks and align with company needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure company policies are correctly implemented by conducting investigations, formulating improvement plans, and executing corrective actions for compliance-related issues.
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in licensing compliance.
- Prior experience in online gambling is preferred, with a strong preference for familiarity with Mexican, LATAM, or Spanish gambling licenses.
- Compliance qualifications (e.g., International Compliance Association) are preferred.
- Native or fluent proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and departments.
