Overview
The Operations Manager Specialty Practices at Harbin Clinic supervises business operations for Primary Care practices including staff training, quality assurance, and implementation of work plans. The role works in close collaboration with Primary Care Leadership to ensure adherence to FLOYD policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities
Financial Management: Monitors gross revenue, collections, billing documentation, and resolves system issues. Utilizes historical data to prepare and manage budgets in collaboration with the central billing office.
Staff Management: Administers employment policies for recruiting, hiring, retention, and scheduling. Meets with practices regularly, mediates conflict, and fosters a positive work environment.
Business Planning: Analyzes growth opportunities with FLOYD and Primary Care leadership using formal networks and trends.
Goals Development & Operational Management: Establishes patient care goals and monitors daily operations through reports and corrective actions.
Minimum Job Requirements
Associate's degree or some college with relevant experience; Bachelor's in business or clinical field is preferred. Five years supervising a medical practice with at least two physicians. Proficiency in medical office systems, electronic billing, and knowledge of medical terminology and payer procedures.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Requires prolonged sitting/standing, occasional lifting, and handling office equipment. Must have good eye-hand coordination, communication skills, and the ability to work under time constraints. May require travel to alternative locations.
