Handshake is seeking Legal Secretaries and Administrative Assistant Professionals for an hourly, temporary AI research project. No prior AI experience is required. In this role, you will leverage your professional background to evaluate AI model outputs, assess content relevant to your field, and provide clear, structured feedback. This feedback will enhance the model’s understanding of legal workplace tasks and language. The Handshake AI program operates year-round, with various project opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.
Details of the Legal Secretaries and Administrative Assistants - AI Trainer (Contract) Role
- This position is remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work independently from any location.
- Hours are flexible, with no minimum commitment; most participants average 5-20 hours per week.
- Your work will involve developing prompts for AI models that reflect your legal field, followed by evaluating the responses generated.
- You will gain new skills and contribute significantly to the future application of AI in the legal sector.
- Project placement depends on availability. If not immediately matched, more opportunities will be available soon.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess at least 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Supporting attorneys by organizing and maintaining law libraries, documents, and case files.
- Preparing legal documents such as summonses and subpoenas.
- Coordinating legal correspondence delivery and assisting in information collection, including employment and medical records.
- Attending legal meetings to take notes and performing legal research for case preparation.
You must also be capable of participating in asynchronous work in collaboration with leading AI labs.
