Inventory Control Manager Opportunity Overview
Handshake is seeking experienced retail inventory professionals for flexible, part-time contract work to support AI research. This role leverages your expertise in inventory management, demand planning, and forecasting to provide feedback on AI-generated content, helping AI better understand real-world retail inventory workflows.
This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be pursued alongside your current work.
What You'll Do
- Use your domain expertise to create expert-level training questions and scenarios based on real retail inventory workflows.
- Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world inventory management and forecasting practices.
- Provide structured written feedback to help improve AI model performance.
- Complete tasks at your own pace with no set schedule or minimum hour requirement.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in retail inventory management or control, in a role such as Inventory Control Manager or Inventory Analyst.
- Hands-on experience with workflows such as inventory reconciliation, demand forecasting, and in-season reforecasting.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment.
