Qualifications
Candidates must possess at least 4 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas. These examples illustrate the real-world responsibilities that provide the necessary context for effectively evaluating and training high-quality AI models:
- Assigning patients to diagnosis-related groups (DRGs) using appropriate computer software.
- Compiling medical care and census data for statistical reports on treated diseases, performed surgeries, or hospital bed utilization.
- Designing databases to support healthcare applications, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.
- Developing in-service educational materials.
- Evaluating and recommending upgrades or improvements to existing computerized healthcare systems.
- Facilitating activities like lunches, seminars, or tours to promote healthcare information privacy or security awareness.
- Identifying, compiling, abstracting, and coding patient data using standard classification systems.
- Managing departments or supervising clerical workers, directing activities in medical records.
- Monitoring changes in legislation and accreditation standards impacting information security or privacy in computerized healthcare systems.
- Planning, developing, maintaining, or operating health record indexes or storage and retrieval systems for data collection, classification, storage, or analysis.
- Preparing statistical, narrative, or graphic presentations of information (e.g., tumor registry data) for hospital staff, researchers, or other users.
- Protecting medical record security to maintain confidentiality.
- Resolving or clarifying conflicting, missing, or unclear codes or diagnoses through consultation or team meetings.
- Retrieving patient medical records for physicians, technicians, or other medical personnel.
- Training medical records staff.
- Writing or maintaining archived procedures, procedural codes, or queries for applications.
- Ability to participate in asynchronous work collaborating with leading AI labs.
