A Typical Day
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader at a Block Advisors office, you will manage leadership and development of associates across three offices. You will be accountable for delivering an outstanding client experience and meeting growth objectives (clients, revenue, and earnings). The role begins with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for the busy tax season followed by full-time work from January to April, with evenings and weekends as needed, and a reduced schedule from May to December.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage staffing, operations, and logistics in multiple offices.
- Partner with the District General Manager to implement growth plans.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard tax office associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and resolve associate issues.
- Train, coach, and maintain an engaging team environment.
- Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information.
- Create work schedules and manage timekeeping and labor.
- Travel between offices as needed and prepare tax returns upon completing required training.
Your Expertise
- Proven people management and associate development skills.
- Aptitude for executing growth plans and working in fast-paced environments.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and customer-centric skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and relevant computer skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; tax course completion required for tax return preparation.
