A Typical Day
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader at a Block Advisors office, you will serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates. You will deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives across three offices. You will start on a flexible part-time schedule in the fall to prepare for a full-time tax season from January to April, transitioning back to a reduced schedule from May to December. Occasional travel between offices is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices.
- Partner with the District General Manager to create growth plans and client targets.
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and performance reviews for tax office associates.
- Lead daily team meetings and develop training and coaching programs for associates.
- Prepare tax returns upon completing the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
What We Expect
You should have multi-unit people management experience from industries like retail, restaurant, or banking. Strong decision-making, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential. Proficiency with MS Office and a customer-centric mindset will help you excel in a fast-paced environment.
