Internship Overview:
The internship consists of working on the improvement of the optimization framework by conducting the following tasks:
- Testing and comparing different drilling strategies by changing the different options and optimization methods.
- Analyzing historical data to find the best way to identify drilling dysfunctions or problems with WOB estimations.
- Including dysfunction detection and mitigation in the algorithm.
- Testing/implementing new optimization techniques.
- Ensuring that safety margins are respected and updated correctly in the recommendations.
