Job Description
As a Sales Ambassador at & Other Stories, you will cultivate a friendly and warm shopping environment by providing organic customer service, detailed product knowledge, efficient operational routines and overall upkeeping. You will help drive sales and maintain a value-driven team environment.
Customer Service
- Greet and engage customers in conversation.
- Create an inspiring shopping experience through organic service.
- Provide detailed product knowledge including fabric types, fits, and trends.
- Communicate courteously in-person and via phone.
Operations
- Complete full garment processing from unpacking to steaming.
- Handle transactions and package purchases per company standards.
- Replenish departments throughout the day.
- Maintain shop floor, stockrooms and overall cleanliness.
- Support campaign setups and execute reductions as per guidelines.
- Adhere to company values, policies and procedures.
Team Player
- Collaborate with team members to ensure superior customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to & Other Stories standards.
- Adapt to changing circumstances and expectations.
- Assist in training new team members.
- Provide and receive feedback in an open manner.
Qualifications
- Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- At least 6 months retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to lift in excess of 20 pounds and perform physical tasks.
- Comfortable with cash register operations.
- Strong communication, organizational skills and passion for fashion.
Job Details
This is a non-exempt, hourly part-time position with an hourly rate of $17.50. All your information will be kept confidential as per EEOC guidelines.
