About the Role
As a H&M Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store to actively sell products, and providing support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to offer customers all the relevant information needed for an optimal experience. Additionally, you'll work on garment refill and care, presentation, and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with your store team.
A Day in the Life
A typical day as a H&M Sales Advisor includes the following responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service in store and OMNI experience.
- Engage in conversations to guide customers about fashion trends.
- Promote and sell products effectively and support loyalty initiatives.
- Maintain merchandise displays and replenish stock on the sales floor.
- Support store opening, closing, and overall operations.
Fashion & Trend Awareness
Keep updated with the latest fashion trends, styles, and competitors while sharing relevant insights with customers.
Team & Development
Retain and share your service, fashion, and store operations knowledge, follow procedures, and participate in training and development opportunities.
Retail Operations and Visual & Commercial Execution
- Perform full garment cycle tasks including unpacking, refill, and garment care.
- Operate fitting room and checkout areas following best practices.
- Maintain an attractive sales floor with proper stock levels and precise visual merchandising.
- Adhere to in-store tech services and operational guidelines.
- Follow H&S and legal requirements at all times.
Qualifications
You should be passionate about fashion, motivated to provide great customer experiences and have prior sales and customer service experience in a dynamic, collaborative retail environment. Creativity, flexibility, and decisiveness are crucial traits.

Additional Information
This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Compensation is based on a sales associates pay rate of $14.00 per hour. H&M provides reasonable accommodations and utilizes an online skills assessment tool for candidates.
