Secondary Computer Studies Teacher (LTO)
The Halton District School Board is seeking a dedicated and qualified Secondary Computer Studies Teacher for a Long Term Occasional (LTO) contract opportunity during the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to student learning and development within the Computer Studies curriculum.
Long Term Occasional Contract Opportunities
This is a Long Term Occasional (LTO) Secondary contract for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. For applicants who do not hold the minimum Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) qualifications, a mutual agreement or temporary letter of approval may be considered, as stated on HDSB Secondary Ads.
There is 1 LTO teaching section available, which is equivalent to a 0.33 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE).

Senior Computer Studies Qualifications are preferred for this role. Again, mutual agreement or a letter of approval/permission may be considered for those who do not hold the minimum OCT qualifications.
External Candidate Requirements for Halton District School Board
External candidates hired by the Halton District School Board must fulfill the following criteria:
- Hold both Intermediate and Senior qualifications in combination with at least two (2) different Senior teachable subjects.
- Provide a Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to employment.
- Possess a valid OCT certificate in Good Standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
Proficiency in Brightspace and online learning platforms will be considered a significant asset for this position. Please note that only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
