Role: Data Manager

This role involves managing data, researching and ensuring the accuracy of trademark and legal information. The ideal candidate will have a graduate-level education in Computer Science, Data Science, Law, Library Science, Linguistics, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data collection and cleaning workflows.
• Draft professional correspondence to government and technical teams.
• Utilize Excel or Google Sheets for data accuracy.
• Manage projects independently in a global remote environment.
• Utilize technical skills in data analysis and web scraping (preferred).

Qualifications

A graduate-level education along with excellent research, analytical, and written communication skills. Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Hindi, Portuguese, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, German, or French bonus). Prior experience or interest in intellectual property, trademarks, or legal data is highly desired.

Preferred Experience

Experience in data collection, web scraping, API familiarity, and handling structured data formats like XML, JSON, or CSV. Background in international and cross-cultural communication is an asset.

Eligibility

This position is supported by the Government of Canada’s Youth Employment Program (YEP) and is available to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or refugees under 30 who are legally entitled to work in Canada and have recently graduated.
