Introduction

HALO Branded Solutions is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect. Reporting to the Vice President of Infrastructure and Operations, the ideal candidate has a proven track record in developing, implementing, and maintaining on-premise and cloud infrastructure. This technical hands-on role involves strategic planning, vendor management, and hands-on support for a hybrid infrastructure covering on-premise systems and cloud services like AWS and Azure.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop multi-cloud strategies, enforce infrastructure policies, and mentor team members.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Architect, design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud solutions while ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement industry best practices and ensure adherence to standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, and PCI DSS.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set up monitoring systems to proactively manage and optimize performance.
  • Vendor Management & Disaster Recovery: Manage relationships with service providers and develop robust disaster recovery plans.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct training sessions.

Work Hours and Travel

This remote role may require occasional on-call availability and travel to Sterling, IL and/or Oakbrook, IL.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of hands-on technical experience in infrastructure design and support.
  • 7+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with Azure and AWS.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field is preferred.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this position is between $130,000 and $190,000 annually.
