The exciting opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Documentation Coordinator to provide in-person support to a designated portfolio of aged care homes across NSW, Qld & ACT. In this role, you will assist, guide, and educate staff on clinical documentation relating to AN-ACC, clinical care, and compliance outcomes. You will be part of the solution and act as an agent of change by identifying and addressing areas for documentation improvement. You will also design and deliver education to small groups of Registered Nurses and Personal Care Workers, identify the appropriate funding for consumers, prepare AN-ACC reclassification submissions, and assist homes during AN-ACC site visits. Collaboration with clinical, finance, and IT teams is essential to ensure funding is reported accurately.

About you
- Experience as a Senior Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Manager, or Documentation Specialist in residential aged care.
- Valid driver’s licence, reliable car, and willingness to travel across your portfolio of homes, including to regional facilities as required.
- Excellent clinical skills, a sound understanding of the AN-ACC tool, and experience using iCare is ideal.
- Driven, high attention to detail, proactive, enjoys educating staff, and committed to improving clinical documentation.
- Personable, confident, superb interpersonal and communication skills, and able to support, engage, and inspire staff.
