Role Overview

The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for driving Haleon’s growth by developing and executing category shopper strategies that boost basket penetration across channels. This role provides the opportunity to lead key initiatives and progress your career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Execution: Develop and execute trade marketing category and channel strategies to enhance in-store presence and achieve sales targets.
  • Category & Channel Initiatives: Lead distribution opportunities, visibility programs and shopper activation plans.
  • Shopper Insights & Communication: Uncover shopper insights and craft compelling communications.
  • Pricing & Promotion: Design and execute pricing and promotion strategies to maximize value and competitiveness.
  • Portfolio Management: Apply portfolio and price pack architecture principles for optimal assortment and profitability.
  • Business Planning: Contribute actionable trade marketing inputs to the Integrated Business Planning process.
  • Budget & P&L Ownership: Define and manage the trade marketing budget and co-own the P&L with the brand team.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with brand, sales, finance, regulatory, quality, and supply chain teams to deliver shopper-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

Basic: Bachelor’s degree; 4+ years in a consumer trade marketing position; experience in leading shopper trade marketing campaigns; and preferably brand or sales experience.

Preferred: Degree in Management, Economics, Marketing or Finance; strong communication, influencing, commercial, and financial understanding; project management and presentation skills; and a strategic, creative and analytical mindset.
