Role Overview
The Platform Innovation Senior Scientist role, based in Weybridge, Surrey on a hybrid basis, is part of the Future Horizons Packaging team. This role is designed to drive disruptive innovation in consumer healthcare packaging through the development of scalable new solutions including tubes, blister packs, bottles, caps, pumps, and sachets.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn strategic discussions into clear project briefs.
- Contribute to Packaging Technology Platform Roadmaps.
- Apply state-of-the-art scouting and evaluation tools.
- Manage predevelopment projects with external partners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Materials Science, Packaging or related field is required; an MSc, MEng or PhD is a plus. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in CPG Packaging Development, with proven project management capabilities and a track record of delivering innovation milestones.
