The Role
As a foundational Software Engineer Data Platform, you will lead projects that aggregate, store, and analyze data. Your work spans building data warehouses for ERP and machine data, developing software agents for machine data capture, and creating certified data sets for operations and business intelligence.
What You'll Do
- Scope, architect, implement, and deploy critical applications to drive revenue.
- Build and manage a robust data warehouse and deploy data pipelines.
- Develop and own data architecture for large-scale projects.
- Create frameworks spanning on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
- Solve complex machine data integration challenges.
- Collaborate with machine engineers, product managers, and data scientists to visualize data insights.
- Work alongside a team of engineers, machinists, and production experts.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in shipping modern, data-centric applications.
- Hands-on experience with IaC, GitOps tooling and Kubernetes/Argo/Helm.
- Expertise in data querying on NoSQL and SQL platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong skills in data architecture and pipeline development.
- Self-motivated with excellent cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven ability to solve undreamed-of problems with innovative solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
The target salary range is $120,000 - $200,000 annually, based on experience. Benefits include 100% coverage of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401k, relocation stipend for non-local hires, flexible vacation policy, and adherence to ITAR requirements.
