About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Account Manager - SMB who is committed to delivering a strong customer experience and supporting customers throughout their lifecycle with HackerRank. This early-career role focuses on customer renewals, relationship management, and account operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of SMB customers with defined adoption and renewal motions.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to ensure value realization and proactive issue resolution.
  • Support renewal conversations and standard contract processes.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to remove roadblocks and accelerate adoption.
  • Identify basic expansion opportunities while collaborating with senior team members.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and activity logging in CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Support to ensure a consistent experience.

Who You Are

You have 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role in a SaaS or technology environment. You are organized, resilient, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Your communication skills help you explain concepts clearly and deliver a positive experience.

Even Better If You Have

  • Familiarity with HR Tech, recruiting tools, or developer-focused products.
  • Experience engaging with HR, Talent, or Engineering contacts.
  • A collaborative mindset and a capacity to work seamlessly across teams.

Compensation

This sales role offers incentive-based pay with an annual total potential earnings range of $100,000 to $125,000, which includes base salary and incentive-based compensation. The final offer may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors.
