About the Role: Software Engineer III (Train AI Models Part Time!)

Mercor, in collaboration with hackajob, is seeking exceptional tech professionals for a unique research project. As a Software Engineer III, you will leverage your extensive professional experience to design insightful questions related to your occupation, contributing directly to the training of AI models for one of the world’s leading AI companies.

Applicant Requirements

  • Have 4+ years full-time work experience in a software engineering occupation.
  • Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.

Project Details

  • Competitive hourly compensation, adjusted based on professional background and geographic location (U.S. scale provided as a reference).
  • Requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
  • Estimated project duration is 6 months, with potential for extension.
  • Access to a desktop or laptop computer is necessary; Chromebooks are not supported.

Contract and Payment Terms

  • This is an independent contractor role.
  • Fully remote with flexible scheduling.
  • Project duration and scope are subject to change based on needs and performance.
  • Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from other employers or clients.
  • Weekly payments are processed via Stripe or Wise.
  • Please note: Mercor is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this project.
