Ruby Engineer

Role Description

hackajob is partnering with SuperAnnotate to connect exceptional tech professionals for this Ruby Engineer role. As an hourly paid, fully remote engineer, you will review AI-generated Ruby and Rails code, evaluate reasoning quality, and provide expert feedback that helps AI models produce accurate, logical, and clearly explained answers.

Your responsibilities include assessing code readability, maintainability, and correctness; identifying errors in MVC structure and control flow; fact-checking; writing high-quality technical explanations; and rating multiple AI responses based on correctness and reasoning.

Your Profile

You should have 1-2+ years of professional Ruby programming experience with a strong understanding of Ruby on Rails and MVC architecture. Experience with LLMs or AI coding assistants, excellent English writing skills, and a minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field are required. Previous exposure to AI data training and rigorous review of AI-generated outputs is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed AI training content and response prompts.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to enhance model performance.
• Test and validate AI models for accuracy and bias.
