About Mercor and the Public Benefits Application Specialist Role
Mercor, in collaboration with hackajob, is seeking exceptional tech professionals for a research project with one of the world's top AI companies. As a Public Benefits Application Specialist, you will leverage your professional experience to design questions related to your occupation, directly contributing to the training and enhancement of advanced AI systems.
This role requires a minimum of 4+ years of full-time work experience in the public benefits occupation and applicants must be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
Role Details
- Hourly compensation rates are competitive, adjusted for your professional background and geographic location. The listed compensation scale primarily applies to U.S.-based applicants.
- A commitment of at least 15 hours per week is required.
- The project is estimated to last for approximately 6 months, with potential for extension.
- Access to a desktop or laptop computer is necessary; Chromebooks are not compatible with this project.
Contract and Payment Terms
You will be engaged as an independent contractor for this fully remote role, offering the flexibility to complete work on your own schedule. Project durations are subject to change based on evolving needs and performance. Your work at Mercor will strictly adhere to ethical guidelines, ensuring no access to confidential or proprietary information from any external entities. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered. Please note that Mercor is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this position.
