About the Role: Private Equity Expert at Mercor
hackajob is partnering with Mercor to find exceptional Private Equity Experts for an engaging research project. Mercor is actively seeking professionals based in the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia to collaborate with a leading foundational model AI lab.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
You are an ideal candidate if you possess at least 2 years of experience working in private equity at top-tier firms and expertise in one or more of the following areas:
- Financial modeling
- Market sizing and Total Addressable Market (TAM) analysis
- Investment and analysis summaries, including memo creation
- Confidential Information Memorandum (CIM) creation and due diligence processes
- NDA and other legal document processing
- Sourcing for deals
Engagement Details
This role requires a commitment of at least 10 hours per week. The initial engagement is for a minimum of four weeks, commencing in October, with a strong potential for significant extensions or future project rotations. Demonstrated successful contributions will enhance your opportunities for selection on subsequent Mercor projects.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive compensation of $130 per hour, with potential for increases for top-performing experts.
