About the Role: Part-Time Project Manager II, AI Model Training
hackajob is partnering with Mercor to find exceptional tech professionals for a critical research project. Mercor is recruiting a Part-Time Project Manager II, AI Model Training to contribute to a groundbreaking project for one of the world's leading AI companies. This role involves leveraging your extensive professional experience to design insightful questions related to your occupation, directly impacting the training and enhancement of advanced AI systems.
You will be engaged as an independent contractor in a fully remote capacity, offering flexibility to work on your own schedule. The project is estimated to last at least six months, with potential for extension.
Key Requirements
- Have 4+ years full-time work experience in a project management or related occupation.
- Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
- Commit a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
Compensation and Project Details
Mercor aims to provide a competitive hourly compensation rate, tailored to your professional background and geographic location. The listed hourly compensation scale is primarily for U.S.-based applicants and will vary by region.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers, receive competitive pay, and directly influence the next generation of AI systems in your field of expertise. Please note that this role does not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from any other employer or client. Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

- This is an independent contractor role; projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded based on needs and performance.
- Mercor is currently unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this project.
