Lead Software Engineer Security and Privileged Access
JPMorgan Chase is seeking an exceptional Lead Software Engineer with a focus on Security and Privileged Access to join their Corporate Technology's Identity and Access Management team.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute creative software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues with innovative approaches.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others.
- Identify opportunities to automate the remediation of recurring issues for improved operational stability.
- Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical capabilities.
- Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and adoption of new technologies within Software Engineering.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Strong experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
- Experience in authentication, authorization, encryption, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC).
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Expertise across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Practical experience with cloud-native technologies and real-time messaging.
