About the Role: Journalism Specialist, AI Model Trainer

Mercor is recruiting a Journalism Specialist, AI Model Trainer to work on a research project for one of the world's top AI companies. This project involves leveraging your professional experience to design insightful questions related to your occupation, thereby contributing to the training and enhancement of advanced AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and curate questions based on your professional journalism experience.
- Contribute to the training and refinement of cutting-edge AI models.
- Collaborate with leading researchers to shape the future of AI systems.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of full-time work experience in journalism.
- Be based in the US, UK, or Canada.
- Commit a minimum of 15 hours per week to the project.
- Have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not accepted).
Contract and Payment Terms
- You will be engaged as an independent contractor.
- This is a fully remote role offering a flexible schedule.
- Projects can be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on evolving needs and performance.
- Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary employer information.
- Payments are processed weekly on Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.
- Please note: We are unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time.
