About The Role
Lead end user IT operations across EMEA. Own service quality, asset lifecycle, and operational readiness. Run a reliable remote support model that integrates with the global follow-the-sun IT setup.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own EMEA IT service delivery. Drive intake, triage, escalation, and closure with clear user updates.
- Lead and coordinate a distributed support model. Manage remote IT engineers and MSPs with clear routines and accountability.
- Act as the escalation point for complex incidents. Drive root cause and reduce repeat issues.
- Own endpoint hygiene across EMEA. Ensure provisioning, device compliance, patching, and baseline security controls follow global standards.
- Own identity and access execution for IT operations. Ensure joiners, movers, and leavers are handled cleanly and on time.
- Own EMEA asset lifecycle. Procure, ship, track, recover, and audit devices and peripherals, maintain accurate inventory and custody.
- Run EMEA operating cadence. Weekly backlog reviews, SLA tracking, and continuous improvement plans.
- Coordinate office readiness where applicable. Cover connectivity basics, meeting room equipment, and local vendor support.
- Support European and African realities. Handle logistics constraints, local sourcing, and higher-latency environments with practical workarounds.
- Maintain runbooks and documentation for EMEA and Africa processes and recurring incident patterns.
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years in corporate IT operations or end user computing.
- Experience leading or coordinating a remote team, including vendors or MSPs.
- Strong experience operating across EMEA, with preference for direct Africa coverage.
- Strong endpoint management across macOS and Windows at scale, Linux a plus.
- Solid identity and access fundamentals, MFA, least privilege, secure provisioning.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis, able to stabilize noisy environments.
- Strong written and spoken English, clear stakeholder communication.
- Comfortable working across time zones and coordinating with global IT and Security.
