About the Role: Civil Engineering Technologist AI Model Trainer (Part-Time)
hackajob is partnering with Mercor to find exceptional tech professionals for a research project with one of the world's top AI companies. This unique part-time opportunity involves leveraging your professional civil engineering experience to design high-quality questions for training advanced AI models.
What You'll Do
- Utilize your 4+ years of civil engineering expertise to create detailed, occupation-specific questions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of frontier AI systems by providing human expertise.
- Work on a flexible, fully remote schedule, committing a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Collaborate with leading researchers to shape the next generation of artificial intelligence.
Requirements
- Have 4+ years of full-time work experience in a Civil Engineering Technologist or Technician occupation.
- Be currently based in the US, UK, or Canada.
- Be able to commit a minimum of 15 hours per week to the project.
- Have access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported).
Contract and Payment Details
- This is an independent contractor role, allowing you to work on your own schedule.
- The project is estimated to last for at least 6 months, with potential for extension.
- Compensation will be competitive and based on your professional background and geographic location (U.S. compensation scale differs based on location).
- Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise for services rendered.
- Please note: Mercor is unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates for this project.
