POSITION OVERVIEW

The engineering team is focused on delivering mission-critical financial services software systems for a major US Bank client. The team’s purpose is to design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, cloud-native solutions that align with core business outcomes. This role focuses on shaping engineering standards, establishing architectural direction, and driving technical strategy across the group.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect full stack solutions using a Java/Spring backend, React/Angular frontend, and AWS cloud services.
  • Lead design sessions, technical planning, and backlog refinement for engineering tasks.
  • Define coding standards, secure coding practices, and application performance guidelines.
  • Drive CI/CD maturity, observability, and core DevOps best practices across environments.
  • Guide the definition of cloud-native patterns including serverless, microservices, and containerization.
  • Mentor junior engineers and influence critical cross-team engineering and technical decisions.

TOP 3 REQUIRED SKILLS
