Overview

The Client Service Associate acts as a liaison between the client, portfolio manager, custodian, and the operations department at GW&K Investment Management.

Responsibilities

  • Respond and resolve client requests/inquiries timely.
  • Monitor new accounts, set-ups, closing accounts, and transfers.
  • Oversee and review account performance, cash inflows/outflows.
  • Monitor asset allocation, cash balances, overdrafts, and investments.
  • Maintain the client's permanent file.
  • Research performance issues and manage cash operations.
  • Run daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Prepare and follow up on client meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field. 2+ years of industry experience, with a preference for candidates who have private wealth exposure and are pursuing CFA or CFP designations. Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and aptitude to work under pressure with strict deadlines. Must effectively communicate and work with various management levels and independently prioritize multiple tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel is required; experience with Black Diamond, Money Guide Pro, and/or Schwab Institutional products is a plus.

Additional Information

This role is based in the Boston, MA office with a hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote). Base salary is dependent on education, experience, skills, and geography, with eligibility for discretionary bonus and/or commission.
