Overview

The Sr Engineer IT Service Management IT Infrastructure is responsible for the design, implementation, support and maintenance of ITSM solutions critical to healthcare operations. This role ensures high availability and performance for ITSM processes (change management, asset management, configuration management, incident management, knowledge management, problem management) and maintains an accurate CMDB aligned with ITIL best practices.

Experience & Expertise

Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of experience in implementing and managing ITSM processes and CMDB in enterprise environments, preferably with healthcare experience. Expertise is required in ITSM platforms (such as ServiceNow) and in scripting (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell, Python) for integrations. Understanding of ITIL processes, reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau), web technologies, and IT infrastructure components is essential.

Essential Functions

  • Configure, deploy, and maintain ITSM platforms.
  • Design and improve ITSM workflows to streamline service delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise to support service desk operations.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and integrations.
  • Manage change control processes and maintain IT asset inventories.
  • Create technical documentation and offer training to staff.

Other Responsibilities

Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and clinical stakeholders to ensure ITSM solutions meet operational needs. Stay current on ITSM innovations and maintain strong customer service throughout all interactions.
