Overview
The Database Administrator - IT Infrastructure at Guthrie is responsible for designing, implementing, supporting and maintaining database systems critical to healthcare operations, including patient care, clinical applications, and administrative functions. This role ensures high availability and performance across the network.
Experience & Qualifications
Preferred 3 to 5 years of database management in an enterprise environment. Healthcare experience is preferred. Must have expertise in systems like Microsoft SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL; proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL and scripting for database automation; and familiarity with Epic IRIS databases and related technologies.
Essential Functions
- Design and implement advanced database architectures including cloud-based solutions.
- Troubleshoot database issues and optimize performance, security, and availability.
- Maintain documentation regarding standards, procedures and metadata.
- Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and hospital stakeholders.
- Enforce ITSM functionalities including change control and CMDB.
