About the Role - Principal Product Manager, Revenue Systems
This role is focused on owning and building Gusto’s revenue systems. You will have a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial role, operating much like a business owner. You are expected to own an end-to-end roadmap, from strategy to execution, impacting revenue communications across product, sales, and lifecycle channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the revenue communications system including in-product messaging, sales calls, and lifecycle communications.
- Manage CMS tools (e.g., Contentful), audience creation tools (e.g., HighTouch) and decisioning systems (e.g., Marketo, Iterable).
- Contribute to a 10-20% lift in aggregate incremental revenue annually.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Growth, Marketing, and Sales Operations.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of direct product management in revenue systems.
- Experience with eventing & instrumentation, data warehouse configuration, CDP, CMS, and orchestration tools.
- Proven track record integrating applied AI technologies into revenue systems.
- Deep technical familiarity with revenue system stacks.
- Strong product and technical sensibilities for infrastructure development.
- Ability to envision complex systems and execute against a roadmap.
Compensation and Locations
Cash compensation for this role ranges based on location: $179,000/yr to $224,000/yr in Denver & most major metro areas; $210,000/yr to $263,000/yr in San Francisco, Seattle & New York. Final offers depend on candidate location, experience, and expertise.
Gusto’s offices are located in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City with additional remote and hub opportunities across the US and Canada.
