About the Role
As the Product Marketing Lead, you will drive growth for Gusto’s Global and Contractors offerings for SMBs. This is a full-stack, senior individual contributor role responsible for insights, strategy, messaging, and go-to-market execution. You will lead market research, product positioning, go-to-market planning, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, sales, and analytics teams.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Market & Customer Insights: Identify customer needs, analyze market trends, and inform product roadmaps.
- Positioning & Messaging: Develop compelling value propositions and messaging for target audiences.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Design and execute GTM plans with measurable business impact.
- Cross-functional Strategy: Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to set goals and monitor performance.
- Performance Measurement: Define KPIs, track initiatives, and iterate on strategies for optimal results.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in marketing, growth, or product management with 3+ years in product marketing.
- Proven experience in go-to-market strategy and revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using tools like SQL, Amplitude.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
Annual cash compensation ranges from $155,000 to $210,000 depending on location. Work expectations include office presence in Denver, San Francisco, New York (or Scottsdale for subsidiary Symmetry) for 2-3 days per week, with remote work options when approved.
