About the role

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Assistant to support our supply chain operations. This is a remote role ideal for someone with hands-on experience in sea and air logistics who can manage shipments, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be focusing on cost optimization and minimizing delays in our supply chain processes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track international shipments via sea and air freight
  • Prepare and review shipping documents (e.g., invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, airway bills)
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs agents
  • Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or issues
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and update internal systems
  • Assist in cost tracking and logistics reporting
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies

  • Cost Optimization: Analyze data and contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
  • Delay Management: Monitor supply chain operations to identify potential delays, proactively developing solutions to mitigate risks and maintain timely delivery schedules.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in export/import from Asia to Europe and familiarity with Incoterms and the whole logistics chain process are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
