Position Overview
The Junior Cyber Security Consultant role at GuruSchools LLC is designed for recent graduates or early-career professionals with 0–2 years experience, focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and federated identity solutions via PingFederate implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain PingFederate for enterprise and cloud apps.
- Design and implement federated identity solutions (B2B and B2C).
- Configure and integrate authentication protocols: SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP.
- Develop automation scripts using Python, PowerShell, or similar.
- Integrate identity solutions using REST APIs, web services, middleware.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and implementation plans.
- Support SSO, MFA, and PingFederate policy configurations.
- Collaborate on API integrations, UI enhancements, Java/jQuery tasks.
- Stay updated with IAM trends, cybersecurity best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in IAM and federated authentication.
- Practical experience with PingFederate setup, configuration, and integration.
- Knowledge of authentication standards: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, LDAP.
- Basic scripting experience in Python or PowerShell.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
