Job Overview
Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is seeking a Financial Sales Representative for its lending department. The role involves building strong member relationships, cross selling credit union products and services, and ensuring compliance with all lending and regulatory guidelines.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed established sales goals through member relationships.
- Interview loan applicants and assess financial conditions.
- Prepare and review loan applications and documents for accuracy.
- Authorize collateral release and process loan modifications.
- Ensure compliance with lending regulations, including Truth in Lending, HMDA, and related laws.
- Maintain understanding of Bank Secrecy Act, NCUA Privacy regulations, and other guidelines.
- Identify reportable transactions and alert supervisory personnel of suspicious activities.
Schedule & Work Environment
This position is scheduled M-F from 8:00am to 5:00pm and includes Saturday shifts. The role is primarily located at the Mortgage and Insurance building with floating between branches as needed.
