Job Summary: Pricing Advisory at Guidewire Software

Key Responsibilities
- Client Consultation: Work directly with client pricing teams, assessing current capabilities, identifying sophistication gaps, and recommending actionable improvement strategies.
- Strategic Development: Assist clients in crafting advanced pricing models, integrating new data sources, and optimizing rate-setting methodologies.
- Implementation Support: Guide clients through the successful implementation of cutting-edge pricing tools, software, and analytical frameworks.
- Knowledge Transfer: Lead workshops and training sessions for client teams on advanced pricing techniques, regulatory compliance, and evolving market dynamics.
- Stakeholder Management: Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, translating complex analytical insights into clear, business-focused outcomes.
- Travel: Travel frequently to client locations to deliver impactful consulting services.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must demonstrate a strong background in insurance pricing.
- Minimum of 3+ years, and ideally 5+ years, of direct experience within a P&C insurance pricing team.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing complex pricing models, including GLMs and machine learning techniques.
- Experience in consulting or advisory services is a significant advantage.

- Analytical Excellence: Superior quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in pricing software; experience with statistical packages for programming languages is a plus.
