Guidewire Software is seeking a visionary Director User Experience Guidewire Platform who will shape exceptional experiences for developers in a dynamic cloud environment. In this role, you will lead a talented team of UX designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive innovative design strategies for a cutting-edge application platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor high-performing UX design teams.
  • Define and implement a comprehensive UX strategy.
  • Drive user-centered design based on research and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with product directors, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Manage the design process from ideation to implementation.
  • Advocate and embed UX best practices within the organization.

Day-to-Day Activities

You will provide expert oversight of the design and UX strategy, align on design goals with your team and stakeholders, manage design initiatives, and ensure that every design decision is rooted in solid user research and data analysis.

What You Will Bring

  • 7+ years of impactful UX design experience.
  • 5+ years leading UX teams in a B2B/enterprise cloud environment.
  • A compelling portfolio showcasing strategic design leadership.
  • Strong collaboration skills with product and engineering teams.
  • Experience with cloud enterprise software solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role based in the Mississauga office, with an expectation to be on-site 2 days per week.
