Job Description
What You Will Do
As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will develop and maintain test scripts using relevant frameworks. You will automate test cases across multiple user roles and implement UI Automation using tools such as Playwright. Responsibilities also include conducting peer reviews of your code, and sharing test execution results and feedback every release cycle. You will lead test automation initiatives and integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps processes.
What You Will Need
- Minimum of Four (4) years of experience in quality assurance or testing for enterprise systems and application development
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- At least two (2) years of experience providing QA and testing support for AWS-based workloads
- Proven ability to perform manual and automated testing, including defect documentation, reproduction, and validation
- Strong expertise in test automation using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript), API testing, performance testing, and tools such as Swagger and Postman
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) integrated with AWS services (e.g., SSM, PostgreSQL)
- Demonstrated proficiency in testing workloads built with AWS services and technologies including Vue.js, Python, Django, and S3
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate, mentor, and support team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Experienced Agile practitioner with a track record of planning and delivering software in iterative environments
- Ability to test and validate workloads for compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework principles
- US Citizens and Green Card holders only. No Visa Sponsorship available for this position.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience working with Python/Django web-based applications
- Experience conducting penetration and load testing on the AWS Cloud
- Experience in configuring monitoring and alerting in Sentry
- Knowledge of 508 testing standards and requirements
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$116,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Position may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
