Sales Associate
Job Overview
The Sales Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor. They are also responsible for organizing, maintaining, and cleaning the stockroom.
Reporting to: Store Management
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience
- First Impression: Make a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code.
- Store Standards: Create a sparkling clean and organized environment by maintaining store standards and cleanliness in both the stockroom and on the sales floor.
Inventory Control
- Shipping Management: Inform management of any discrepancies in shipments and any missed markdowns in the stockroom.
- Merchandise Handling: Applying sensors, steaming merchandise, folding, and hanging merchandise as needed.
- Stock Organization: Bringing new merchandise and replenishing the store with stock from the stockroom.
- Operations: Execute transfers, returns to vendor, manage damages, and handle any credit sale shipments for delivery.
- Stockroom Maintenance: Ensure the stockroom is tidy, clean, and products are always sales-ready.
Cooperation and Reliability
- Task Accomplishment: Satisfactorily complete all assigned tasks by management.
- Punctuality: Be punctual and adhere to scheduled work hours.
- Teamwork: Be flexible and work harmoniously with peers and management to accomplish tasks.
