Seasonal Stock Associate

The Seasonal Stock Associate is responsible for receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. They ensure the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the stock room.

Customer Experience

First Impressions: Create a positive first impression by adhering to the dress code.

Store Standards: Maintain a sparkling clean and organized environment on the selling floor and in the stock room.

Inventory Control

• Shipment Management: Notify management of shipment discrepancies and missed markdowns.
• Merchandise Handling: Sensor, steam, fold, and hang merchandise as needed.
• Stock Organization: Bring new goods to the selling floor and replenish stock from the stock room.
• Operations: Execute transfers, RTVs, manage damages, and handle customer charge sends.
• Stock Room Maintenance: Keep the stock room organized, clean, and floor-ready.

• Task Completion: Complete all duties as assigned by management.
• Punctuality: Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Teamwork: Work well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Policy Adherence: Follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
• Housekeeping: Actively perform housekeeping and maintenance duties.

Miscellaneous Responsibilities

• Meetings and Functions: Attend all store meetings and related functions.
• Positive Attitude: Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• Inventory Participation: Participate actively in all inventories.
• Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to perform heavy lifting over 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours.

Job Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous retail or stockroom experience preferred.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexible Schedule: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance frequently.
