The Role: People and Development Partner

We are seeking a People and Development Partner to join our collaborative People team. This full-time, fixed-term contract (up to May 2027) role involves home working with required travel within England. As a trusted partner, you will work closely with senior managers to identify and deliver their people needs, providing expert advice and guidance to support their people priorities.

The People and Development Partner is crucial in driving organisational change, enhancing the employee experience, and leading people-focused initiatives that align with our strategic objectives. As a senior team member, you will collaborate with the Director of People to help shape and implement the People strategy and associated change programmes.

Our Commitment to Equality, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

At Skills for Care, we are dedicated to fostering a culture of Belonging, where all our people can contribute to their full potential. We expect everyone to contribute towards achieving our aspirations for equality, equity, diversity and inclusion. We aim for our team to reflect the diverse society we support, encompassing all equality characteristics such as age, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion, or belief. This diverse lived experience enriches our work and ultimately helps the social care sector to provide the best quality care. We strongly encourage applications from, but not limited to, people from minoritised ethnic backgrounds, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities.

Candidates are always selected based on their experience and potential.

Reasonable Adjustments for Applicants

We are committed to ensuring all applicants can fully participate in our selection processes. We welcome requests for adjustments to our recruitment and selection processes from applicants with disabilities, impairments, or health conditions.
