Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and creative SharePoint Developer to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint sites and web-based solutions that enhance collaboration, streamline business processes, and deliver engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will be working on contract and will have a strong background in SharePoint Online/On-Premises, front-end web design, and UI/UX principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint sites, pages, and web parts.
  • Create workflows using Power Automate and SharePoint Designer.
  • Develop and deploy SharePoint solutions using SPFx, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Manage SharePoint permissions, site collections, and content types.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Power BI, etc.).
  • Design and implement responsive, user-friendly web interfaces.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into design concepts.
  • Ensure consistency in branding, layout, and user experience across all web platforms.
  • Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and SEO.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SharePoint development and web design.
  • Proficiency in SharePoint Online, SPFx, Power Automate, and PowerShell.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive design frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX best practices and accessibility standards.
  • Ready to work on contract.

Preferred Skills

  • Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications.
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

Soft Skills

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, maintainable code and design.
