The Opportunity
Grow Therapy is seeking a Senior Security Engineer Detection and Response to scale the Threat Detection and Response vertical. You will join a growing security team of four and work directly with the Head of Security and IT to define detection roadmaps, build infrastructure, and optimize threat response processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Detect, respond and defend against threats to Grow’s user base
- Define and drive the Threat Detection roadmap
- Mature Incident Response and Remediation processes
- Respond to security events, perform investigations and incident analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams to drive remediations
- Build and optimize detection rules
- Develop runbooks and incident playbooks
You’ll Be a Good Fit If You
- Have 5+ years of experience in detection and response
- Have led development of detection and response strategies
- Designed strategies in complex, high-scale environments
- Know automated vulnerability identification tools and triage processes
- Stay updated with the latest threat landscape
- Communicate constructively and collaboratively
Role Details
Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt
Compensation: Zone 1 (NYC, SF, Seattle Metro Area): $188,000 - $221,000 USD annually; Zone 2 (Other US locations): $178,000 - $209,000 USD annually. Remote candidates are welcome; however, preference is for candidates near NYC, Seattle, or San Francisco with a three-day office expectation.
