As a Strategic Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving gridX's growth by managing and expanding relationships with our most vital clients. Your contributions will directly impact our success and the broader energy sector transformation.

  • Strategic Growth Driver: You're responsible for fostering and expanding relationships with our most strategic accounts, identifying and pursuing opportunities for significant revenue growth and deepening engagement.
  • Relationship Maestro: You cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within strategic accounts, ensuring alignment and a shared vision for the future.
  • Account Strategist: You develop and execute comprehensive account strategies that maximize the value of these key relationships, outlining a clear roadmap for growth and mutual success.
  • Opportunity Hunter: You proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing strategic accounts, expanding gridX's footprint and impact.
  • Value Creator: You champion the value of gridX's solutions, ensuring that strategic accounts fully leverage our offerings to achieve their business objectives.
  • Trusted Advisor: You act as a trusted advisor to strategic accounts, providing expert guidance and support to navigate complex challenges and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Collaboration Catalyst: You work closely with internal teams (e.g., product, engineering, customer success) to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

We are looking for an individual who brings a robust blend of experience and strategic acumen to the Strategic Account Manager role at gridX.

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a dynamic, customer-facing role with a proven track record where you were directly responsible for driving revenue within the energy industry or at a high-growth SaaS company.
  • You have a strong strategic mindset and in combination with your deep knowledge of energy market trends you are able to steer the business relation towards new directions.
  • You effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Solution Engineering, Customer Success or Growth Services) to ensure seamless execution of the account plans.
  • You can evaluate and (de-)prioritize opportunities based on key performance indicators of a successful partnership.
  • You possess a strategic mindset and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans, making sound decisions to drive our customers success and desired outcomes.
  • You are experienced in solution-selling methodologies, with a focus on understanding customer needs and aligning gridX's solutions to achieve their business objectives.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as strong presentation skills for conveying account strategies and value propositions.
