Role Overview
The Accounting Systems Analyst plays a key role in implementing, enhancing, and supporting systems and processes across various finance functions including Financial Accounting, Budgeting, AR/AP, Treasury, Internal Audit, and Payroll with a focus on U.S. Property Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support acquisition, design, testing, training, and ongoing maintenance of new systems and processes.
- Lead or assist in system updates, conversions, and rollouts by evaluating business needs.
- Collaborate with end users to deliver reporting solutions using Power BI and related tools.
- Support and enhance the Power BI environment by troubleshooting and developing reports.
- Perform data analysis and reconcile discrepancies between systems and processes.
- Gather requirements, design functional and process workflows, and assist in change management.
Other Responsibilities
Provide support on financial and administrative tasks including reporting and ad hoc analysis. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced).
- Experience gathering business requirements and designing processes in a corporate setting.
- Working knowledge of Power BI for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems like Oracle Cloud ERP or E-Business Suite.
- Experience with budgeting tools such as Vena or Anaplan.
- Project management tool experience with Asana.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Scripting/Querying skills: SQL, Python, or similar.
- CPA certification or similar is a plus.
- Experience in real estate, property management, or private equity.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a base salary between $60,000 and $70,000 with additional bonus opportunities depending on business and performance. Robust benefits include competitive health insurance, generous paid time off, retirement match, sabbatical options, and various other perks.
