About the role
Industrial Product Design Trainee
We are seeking a talented and creative Entry Level Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about design, innovative thinking, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful products. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and contribute to the entire product development process from concept to prototype.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the cross-functional team to brainstorm and develop concepts for new and existing products.
- Create 2D/3D sketches, renderings, mock-ups and prototypes to visualise design ideas and concepts.
- Utilize 3D CAD software to develop detailed models and specifications that meet project requirements.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical specifications.
- Conduct user studies and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to incorporate into designs.
- Communicate and present design concepts effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of product documentation, including user manuals and specifications.
Requirements
Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good technical aptitude and communication skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Good presentation skills.
- Should be able to travel for business purposes.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360, Autodesk Inventor).
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, Illustrator) and Visualization software (e.g., Blender, Keyshot).
- Excellent sketching and rendering skills to communicate design ideas visually.
- Ability to create physical mock-ups and prototypes using various materials and techniques.

- Completed Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in one of the below disciplines: Industrial Design, Product Design.
- Freshers are eligible to apply.
- Maximum total experience should not exceed 1 year.
