The Role in a Nutshell
The Business Analyst leads the creation and review of business and system processes to ensure effective and efficient administration of group health & dental benefits and/or life & disability benefits. This role acts as a key business contact between IT, clients/partners, and internal departments for system-related issues, service and change management, as well as the development and testing of system initiatives.
- Manage complex reporting, analysis, and reconciliation of data.
- Lead projects aimed at system enhancements and process improvements.
- Gather business cases and requirements for projects and system enhancements.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to resolve system problems.
What We’re Looking For
Candidates should have a University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field, strong experience in data analysis and problem resolution, and proficiency in tools such as Access, Excel, Word, Business Objects, and other database utilities. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment are key. An understanding of accounting concepts is considered an asset.
Nice to Have
- Additional education or industry designations (e.g., GBA, CPA, ASA, PMP, Agile).
- Bilingual in English/French.
