About the Key Account Manager Role

Green Planet Astronauts is a fast-growing Finnish startup developing healthy plant-based foods for children. With products available in nearly 2000 stores and a popular online channel, Avaruusposti, this role is central to driving sustainable growth in retail.

Role Overview

The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and expanding key account relationships. You will work in a hybrid environment: approximately 2 days a week in the field and the remaining days in the office collaborating with your team, with occasional remote work.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive sustainable growth at store and chain level.
  • Maintain and expand the retail distribution network.
  • Execute field sales and support team efforts from the headquarters.
  • Leverage customer data and analytics to optimize product offerings.
  • Launch new product categories to major retail chains.

What We Expect

You should have proven experience as a Key Account Manager, preferably from S-ketju, Kesko, or Lidl. Experience in the food industry is essential, along with a proven track record in field sales, networking, and data-driven sales strategy. Fluency in Finnish and English is required, while additional languages are an asset. Start-up experience and the ability to work independently in various environments are strong advantages.
